Ingredients

For Masala Milk Powder

  • Almonds / Badam – 1/2 cup
  • Cashews – 1/2 cup
  • Pistachios – 1/4 cup
  • Cardamom – 1 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper – 1 1/4 tsp
  • Saffron strands – few
  • Nutmeg – small piece
  • Turmeric powder – 1 tsp

For Masala Milk

  • Milk – 2 cups / 1/2 litre
  • Masala milk powder – 3 tbsp
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Chopped nuts – for garnish

Step 1: Roast the Nuts

Heat a pan and dry roast almonds until aromatic. Remove and keep aside.

Next, roast cashews until lightly golden. Add pistachios and roast for a few seconds.

Step 2: Roast the Spices

Add pepper, cardamom, and nutmeg to the pan. Roast on low flame until fragrant.

Switch off the flame and add saffron strands. Mix once and allow everything to cool completely.

Step 3: Grind Into Powder

Transfer the roasted ingredients to a mixer jar.

Add turmeric powder and grind into a slightly fine powder.

Store the masala milk powder in an airtight container.

How to Make Masala Milk

Boil milk in a pan.

Once the milk starts boiling, add masala milk powder and sugar.

Mix well and cook on medium flame for 2–3 minutes.

Switch off the flame and pour into serving glasses.

Garnish with chopped nuts and serve hot.

  • For masala milk Powder:

    Badam/Almonds - 1/2 cup /80 gms

    Cashews - 1/2 cup /60gm(approx)

    Pistachios - 1/4 cup/30gms

    Cardamom - 11/2 Tsp /3gm

    Pepper - 11/4 tsp / 3gm

    Some Saffron Strands

    Small Bit of Nutmeg

    Turmeric powder - 1 tsp

    For masala Milk:

    Milk - 2 cups/1/2 litre

    Masala milk powder - 3 Tbsp

    Sugar - 3 Tbsp

    Some more chopped mixed nuts for topping

Method
 

  1. For Masala Powder:
    In Pan dry roast badam,take out add Cashews roast well.
    2.Then add Pista to roast nicely.
    3.Add Pepper,CardamomRoast nicely add nutmeg also to saute.
    4.Switch off add saffron strands stir once transfer to cool.
    5.When Cool grind along with turmeric powder & keep in a airtight container.
    6.You can store for long days.
    For Making masala milk:
    7.Boil 1/2 litre milk in a pan when it boils add Masala milk powder stir nicely cook for 2-3 minutes in medium heat.
    8.Switch off & serve with more Chopped nuts For Garnish.
