It was a less crunchy cookies with a good bite of softness making it a best tea time snack. may be sticky but don’t worry its the right way that we make these goodies. If you want to make all with brown sugar you can replace the white sugar even with dark brown sugar. I thought of making it with raisins but When arranging the ingredient list just forgot. Nothing to worry here you can add some extra raisins using the very same recipe that I have given. You will surely enjoy the chewy textural taste.Make it a medium sized biscuits and not to mention drop the cookies at regular intervals because when baking it will spread.

INGREDIENTS:

All purpose flour/maida – 100 gm/3/4 cup
Powdered oats – 75 gm/3/4 cup
Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
A pinch of salt
Butter – 75 gm
Powdered sugar – 45 gm/1/4 cup
Brown sugar – 40 gm/1/4 cup
Vanilla essence – 1/2 tsp
Milk – 4 tbsp
Choco chips – 1/2 cup

METHOD:

1.Take butter and both sugar in a bowl with vanilla essence beat it till light.
2.In-between preheat the oven at 170 degrees for 10 minutes, grind oats and line the baking tray with parchment paper.

3.In another bowl mix maida, oats , salt and baking powder well then add the butter mixture to this and mix well with a spatula till crumbly add 4 tbsps of milk to this and make a sticky dough after adding choco chips.

4.Make balls roughly press to round and place it on a baking tray at intervals as it will melt as it bakes.
5.Bake for 15- 20 minutes or till done.

Notes

Instead of using all maida you can use half and half wheat flour.
If you want the oats to be as such leave it without grinding.
Baking temperature for each oven differs so bake accordingly.
Have used both white and brown sugar you can use brown sugar alone and do this cookie.
