Ingredients
- 1 cup Ragi (Finger Millet) Flour
- 2 tablespoons Coarsely Ground Raw Rice
- Salt to taste
- Finely Chopped Small Onions
- Finely Chopped Green Chilies
- 2 cups Water (to mix the flour)
- 4½ cups Water (for cooking)
- Buttermilk as required
Method:











1. Take ragi flour add 2 cups of water little at a time & mix without lumps & keep for 20 minutes.
2. Boil 41/2 cups water in a pan or manchatti.
3. When it boils add coarsely ground raw rice & let it cook till it becomes soft.
4. Now add ragi flour mixture & whisk continuously keep the flame medium low.
5. Let it cook for 10-15 minutes in low flame at one stage mixture becomes shiny.
6. That’s the right consistency.
7. Switch off the flame close with a lid let it cool completely.
8. After it cools take 2-3 scoops of ragi koozh add needed salt buttermilk,some-onions and chillies,mix and enjoy.
9. It can be diluted to whatever consistency you want may be thick.
10. You can immerse the rest of the mixture in water dilute the next day & add butter milk ,onions ,chillies & enjoy it the next day.

Serve with buttermilk, chopped onions, and green chillies. Adjust thickness as preferred.8. Store leftover koozh submerged in water and enjoy the next day too!
