INGREDIENTS:
Sakkarai valli kilangu – 300 gm
Wheat flour/Godhumai maavu – 1 cup/120 gms
Rice flour/Arisi maavu – 1/4 cup /40 gm
Powdered jaggery – 3/4 cup/170 gm
Cardamom powder – 2 tsp
Pinch of salt
Sesame seeds/ellu(black) – 2 tbsp
Grated Coconut – 1/2 cup / 50 gm
Baking soda a pinch
Oil to fry
Method:




1.Wash kilangu nicely then cut into pieces steam then for 10-15 minutes.
2.When cool mash it smoothly.












3.In a mixing bowl add wheat flout, rice flour pinch of salt, cardamom powder, grated coconut Jaggery & mashed sweet potatoes mix well by adding water to a moderately thick batter,
4.Add a pinch of soda mix well with sesame seeds.
5.Now heat oil in a kadai when hot pinch off Bonda’s & fry in medium high flame.
6.When golden take out in a tissue.
7.Do the same with rest of the batter.
8.Enjoy as tea time snack.
