INGREDIENTS:

All purpose flour – 100gms
Unsalted butter – 50 gms
powdered sugar – 20gms
Roasted jeera – 2 tsp
Baking powder – 1 gm
Milk – 20 ml
Salt – 2 gm

METHOD:

1.First dry roast cumin and keep.
2.In a mixing bowl take butter and sugar and beat with a whisk till light and creamy.

3.Then sieve maida, baking powder and salt directly to the butter mix.
4.Then add roasted jeera(reserve some to put on top after rolling) and mix lightly to form a dough by adding milk when required.
5.Rest this dough for half an hour in refrigerator.

Notes

Don't knead the dough too much.
You can replace some half of the wheat flour and bake these cookies.
Roasting jeera is needed for exact flavour.
You can use any shaped cutter you like to shape the cookies.
Sometimes for other oven brands it may take longer to bake so adjust accordingly.
