INGREDIENTS:

Toor dal/thuvaram paruppu – 1/2 cup
one clove of garlic
A small pinch of Asafoetida
Salt as per taste
Red chillies – 2(or as needed)
Grated coconut – 1/2 cup
Pepper – 1 tsp
Oil – 1-2 tsp

 

METHOD:

Ingredients

  • Toor dal/thuvaram paruppu - 1/2 cup

Notes

You can have this as a side dish with rasam rice or even curd rice. Adding garlic is optional. You can increase the chillies if you need. You can use half and half of both toor and bengal gram dal also and do it.
