Notes

The wheat should be cooked perfectly and water should be drained completely. Coarser kind of broken wheat is suitable for this salad. It can stay fresh even for a day and the flavours of-course become intense. Be careful while grating orange zest as the white part will give bitterness.

  1. Vani, this is one of my favourite salads and not only do I make it often at home, but whenever I eat out in an Arab or Lebanese restaurant, this is the first thing I always order. The Tabbouleh looks absolutely gorgeous. What a fantastic idea it was to add the orange segments and zests. I know this would have given the tabbouleh a new dimension of brilliant flavours. Your clicks as always get my tummy all worked up. They look totally coming through to the screen onto my virtual platter. Yet another fantastic offering from you. Adore this post oh so much.

  2. Totally loved the flavours and colours going into this salad!! I always love to give a sweet touch to my salads and by adding orange, it’s perfect for me..Loved the bowl too!!
