If it’s for Navrathri kolu then serving a type of sundal is a must and for this occasion if a different kind of sundal if served will be more interesting than the regular one. More than a salad or a chaat this chana fruit snack can be called as a sundal(a type of healthy snack) too why not? a combination of chickpeas/garbanzo/chana along with some fruits for this “Navrathri” will be too good. For seasoning I have added just chat masala and salt but you can add black salt even chilli powder with little salt will do.Before serving we should refrigerate the mixture because it tastes best when served cool.I have already added salt while boiling the chick peas so I have adjusted the salt accordingly while mixing adding just only for fruits alone. If you are not adding salt while boiling garbanzo beans then you can add accordingly for the whole chaat/sundal.Not only orange and pomegranates other fruits like apple and pineapple can be substituted for this chana fruit chaat.It’s a definite kids snack that can be served as after school item with a promising healthy note. Its a total stress free salad with no oil to just mix and serve in no time but with loads of nutritional goodness.

Orange peeled and cut to segments – 1/2 cup
Pomegranate – 1/2 cup
Brown boiled chana/garbanzo beans/chick pea – 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Chat masala – 1/2 tbsp or as needed
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp or as needed
1.Keep every thing ready.
2.Take every thing in a bowl add chat masala and salt(a pinch).
3.Add lemon juice and refrigerate for some time(have already added salt for chana while boiling).
