This wheat flour sweet bonda is an instant snack that can be made any time if you have a cup of wheat flour at home. Wheat flour Sweet bonda is a delightful South Indian snack often made during festivals or special occasions.It turns out to be soft and addictive evening snacks that you can’t stop eating one.Ensure the oil is at the right temperature for frying to achieve bondas without absorbing excess oil.Remove the fried sweet bondas using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Fry in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan, which can reduce the oil temperature.Gradually add water to the mixture and whisk to form a smooth, thick batter.

Wheat flour Sweet bonda / Instant evening snacks
INGREDIENTS:
Godhumai maavu/Wheat flour – 1 cup
Rava – 1/4 cup
Jaggery – 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder – 2 tsp
Coconut grated – 1/4 cup
Salt a pinch
Curd – 1 tbsp
Baking soda 1/4 tsp
Oil to fry
METHOD:
1.First add jaggery with water to the level till jaggery gets immersed boil till jaggery dissolves.
2.Filter & keep to cool.
3.In a mixing bowl add wheat flour ,rava, pinch of salt baking soda, grated coconut ,curd,cardamom powder mix.
4.Add jaggery water & make a thick idli batter consistency.
5.Add more water to bring to the consistency.
6.Heat a kadai with oil when it heats up pinch off batter.
7.Fry till golden adjust the flame as required.
8.Take out in a tissue.

Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less jaggery according to your preference.
- Keep the oil at the right temperature to ensure the bondas cook evenly and absorb less oil.
- Adding grated coconut gives a good taste to this Bonda’s.
- Instead of wheat flour you can use maida.
