rawa laddu recipe /rava ladoo
“Sweets are the real ones sent by god with his direct blessings(boon)”!it may be simple or a tricky one to make. For me as you may all know right from my childhood days till now I can say for sure that I can’t live without sweets!and definitely feeling amazed when I see few of my friends totally have no love for this treasurable item(sweets)during early years mostly these Rawa /rava laddu’s were such a dominant sweet to be served during all the major functions and festivals competing with other festive desserts ,but now the total scene has changed!many alternative sweets have taken its importance!Still this rava ladoo has its own power of addictive-ness for its soft melt in a mouth texture filled with cardamom and ghee flavours.Traditionally for ages the procedure is that they don’t grind the rava after roasting and even powdered sugar was not used they use sugar syrup which makes the laddu soft and gooey with added nuts and raisins to it.They usually say rava laddu as basic sweet that can be made even by a beginner and here I have added little saffron and milk powder for more aroma and flavour.I have not added milk while making if you find it dry then you can sprinkle some milk and make laddu’s.I have added three-fourth cup of sugar but you can increase the amount if you find it less sugary.
