First of all making chicken stock is the main thing to do which is an absolute base for this recipe.Even some ready made stock cubes can be used if you are not making stock. Making stock for soup is very simple its not at all complicated you can very well make it for sure by yourself. In restaurants they conditionally add ajinomoto for all their soup variations. But, at home you need not add for these kind of soups as chicken soup itself has all the flavour and taste we need. These soups are very good for cold and gives all the warmth needed. I have

INGREDIENTS:
Boneless chicken breasts – 2 (small cuts)
Carrot – 1 roughly chopped
Onion – 1 roughly diced
Ginger – 1 inch piece (minced)
Some coriander (hand-full)& some for garnish
Pepper powder – 1 tsp or as needed
Pepper (whole) – 1tbsp
Salt as per need
Cornflour – 11/2 tbsp
Water – 5 cups
Green chillies – 2
Butter – 2 tsp
Garlic – (grated ) 1 tsp
METHOD:
1.Keep a thick bottomed soup pan add 5 cups of water and let it boil.
2.When it boils add all roughly chopped onion, carrots,greenchillies,pepper,bayleaves,coriander leaves, ginger and chicken.
3.Let it boil for 10 minutes by closing the lid.
4.Open lid strain the contents remove chicken pieces alone and shred them.
5.Make a slurry of cornflour with water and keep ready.
6.Now keep the same pan add butter with grated garlic saute.
7.Add stock with needed salt and shredded chicken let it boil.
8.Add slurry stir well add some pepper powder, let it boil for 5 minutes.
9.Switch off serve with some chopped coriander.

Notes
- Increase or decrease pepper according to your taste
- You can make as a egg drop soup by adding egg while boiling itself.
- I prefer it to be a thin soup but if you need it thick add more corn flour slurry.
