INGREDIENTS:

Oil – 1-2 tbsp
Boiled potatoes – 2 medium sized(mashed)to make 1cup
Boiled green peas -1/2 cup(mash coarsely)
Salt to taste
Chat masala – 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder – 1/4-1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1/2-1tsp
Some chopped coriander leaves

METHOD:

1.After the preparation work is over take a mixing bowl add all the above ingredients and make a dough.
2.Pinch off and make circular shapes.
3.Heat a tava add oil and as-soon as it heats up lower the flame to medium and fry both sides.
4.When golden serve hot with green chutney or tamarind chutney.

Ingredients

  • Oil - 1-2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. After the preparation work is over take a mixing bowl add all the above ingredients and make a dough.
  2. Pinch off and make circular shapes.
  3. Heat a tava add oil and as-soon as it heats up lower the flame to medium and fry both sides.
  4. When golden serve hot with green chutney or tamarind chutney.

Notes

Be careful while adding chat masala if you add more it spoils the tikki. Don't mash peas too smoothly. Potatoes should be mashed nicely without any lumps. Sometimes onions are also added to this tikki.
