There may be many different varieties of cookies but this simple eggless whole wheat cookies recipe is one that we should never miss to try. Its very simple to make without any complicated ingredients to put in. Crispy tender cookies is a very best accompaniment during tea time. Smell of baked goods are just mesmerising and gives a relaxing satisfaction.Measurement accuracy of all ingredient is crucial for making any baked recipe to come out perfect each time. Milk powder adds a nice taste to this cookie. Thought that the sugar I added was little less but we all loved the very taste and totally satisfied. If you feel
that the sugar is little less add 10 more grams of sugar. If you are not liking to use all-purpose replace it with some almond flour. Temperature of the oven depends on the type of oven you are using. Adjust accordingly and bake. Don’t overcrowd the baking tray give gaps so that it bakes out perfectly. Try using any other flavour instead of cardamom powder but I love using cardamom powder for this simple cookies. Too much kneading is not at all needed for this eggless whole wheat cookies recipe. Just form the dough by combining. I have used butter but you can use any flavourless oil like sunflower or canola oil. Do try this whole wheat cookies for sure.

eggless whole wheat cookies recipe / Atta flour cookies
INGREDIENTS:
Whole wheat flour/atta – 150gms
Milk powder – 10 gms
All purpose flour/maida – 40gms
Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt a good pinch
Cardamom powder -1 tsp
Milk- 2 tbsp
Butter – 120 gms
Castor sugar – 50 gms
METHOD:
1.Take a bowl with butter and sugar beat till fluffy.
2.In-between sieve the dry ingredients maida,milkpowder,baking powder, wheat flour and salt.
3.Add this dry ingredients to the wet fluffy butter sugar mixture with elachi powder make a dough and do not knead the dough too much.
4.Just they have to come together like a dough.
5.Now take a butter paper and place the dough flatten it with another paper at the top .
6.You can roll it with a rolling pin.
7.Then use a cutter of your choice cut shapes.
8.In-between preheat oven at 160 degrees for 10 minutes.
9.Place these cut cookies in the parchment paper lined pan.
10.Bake at 160 degrees for 10-15 minutes or till done.
11.Take out let it cool and serve.

Notes
Instead of butter you can use oil and the oil should be unflavoured.
The baking temperature depends upon the oven type you are using.
Instead of cardamom powder try using vanilla essence if you love the flavour.
You can cut into any shape you like.
Don’t knead the dough for too long just combining well is enough.
