To fill up our chocolate cravings this chocolate and walnut fudge recipe is a real keeper for sure. If you are a walnut lover then every bite will give you a divine satisfaction. Not only that its not at all a tough dessert and making time is also short. Instead of dark compound you can use white chocolate compound or even combine both. In case if we combine both we can create a white and dark zebra look while setting. The setting time in refrigerator is 1 hour minimum but you can give more time and then cut. Only hard part while
preparing this fudge is the double boiling because we have to be careful by using proper containers. Otherwise if the water droplets comes in contact with chocolate then it will disintegrate. The chocolate compound used should be fresh so check for expiry date before using. Always toast the walnuts before using in this chocolate and walnut fudge recipe for nice crunch and taste. I have not used any salt but a pinch of or a salted butter will always have a magical taste on its own. Do try this chocolate walnut fudge for sure your kids will love it.

INGREDIENTS:
Dark chocolate compound – 500 gms
Milk maid condensed milk – 400gms
Chopped walnuts – 1 cup
Butter – 2 tsp
METHOD:
1.Chop the dark chocolate compound take it in a bowl.
2.In a separate pan toast the nuts and when cool chop and keep.
3.In-between line a suitable square tray with butter paper and keep ready.
4.Add condensed milk and butter to it, keep a vessel with water on stove to heat.
5.Place this chocolate bowl on it and let it melt.
6.Keep on stirring till all blends well to a shiny thick mass.
7.Switch off.
8.Now take out the bowl and stir in to check if there is any chunks.
9.Take out few tbsps of walnuts and add the rest and stir in.
10.Pour this to the lined tray and flatten evenly and add the rest of the nuts and press further.
11.Leave it in a refrigerator to set for 1-2 hours or until set.
12.Make slices and enjoy.

Notes
When double boiling don’t leave without stirring.
Double boiling should be done properly like the upper chocolate pan should not come in contact of water.
You can use even milk compound instead of dark.
