suji biscuit recipe ghee rava semolina biscuit
Countless recipes can be made with this single versatile ingredient called semolina. They are also called as suji or rava in India. Positivity of this ingredient rava is that it can be made instantly when you are in a hurry because it cooks in a jiffy. It has been a month longer I have not baked anything new so thought of making this suji biscuit recipe using ghee instead of butter. Got this recipe from my friend which she regularly bakes at her home during all special occasions. I followed all that she had noted
and it came out really well. There are no complex ingredients at all its a simple recipe without any baking soda or even powder. Even cardamom powder can be added for more flavour. Just in case if there is no castor sugar can use powdered sugar also works just fine. I have used cherries for topping can use cranberries or even tutti frutti. Use fine roasted rava there is no need to grind the rava use as such for texture. Do try this suji biscuit recipe for sure.
I have already made some rava recipes in my blog
Basbousa
Rava kitchadi
Rava laddu
Rava kesari
Rava seedai
