suji biscuit recipe ghee rava semolina biscuit

Ingredients
  

  • Maida/All purpose flour - 1 cup
  • Rava/semolina - 1/4 cup
  • Castor sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Melted ghee - 1/4 cup
  • Few cherries chopped

Instructions
 

  • Take all ingredients measured.
    2.Take a mixing bowl and mix rava, maida and sugar nicely with salt.
    3.Then add the melted ghee little at a time and mix to form a dough it may be crumbly but you should be able to form shapes by pressing.
    4.Keep it on a butter paper and keep another over the dough and roll it evenly and press shapes and keep cherries.
    5.Line the baking tray with butter paper and preheat oven at 170 degrees for 10 minutes.
    6.Keep the shaped dough and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Notes

If you want to add cardamom powder you can add.
Fine variety semolina is needed.
You can even replace wheat flour instead of all purpose flour.
I have used cherries for topping you can use even cranberries or even tutti frutti.
