INGREDIENTS:
Fresh strawberries – 3/4 cup (chopped and made a rough puree)
Granulated sugar – 1/2 cup
Lemon juice – 1-2 tsp
METHOD:
1.Wash strawberries dry them,remove green part and chop them.
2.Make a rough puree of the fruit with chunks in it.
3.Now heat a pan add both strawberries and sugar and let it boil.
4.It liquidizes and cooks, at one stage will become thick and glossy.
5.Keep on stirring otherwise it may burn.
6.switch off when the contents gels together.
7.Add lemon juice and mix.
8.Store in sterilized container.
Consistency: It should be thick and not runny with all the contents jelled together.
