pepper idli fry /pepper capsicum mini idli
This pepper idli fry is a top form perfect snack that is tasty at the same time very healthy option to indulge on.It can be very well made with left over idli’s or steam as mini idli’s and you are all set to go. Instead of adding peppers alone I have added some curry leaves also for ground masala so that both flavour and health are enhanced. In order to introduce some tartness I have added tamarind extract but its optional. If you don’t like to add tamarind you can try out adding some lemon juice. Don’t over cook onions and capsicum they should maintain their crunch. I love to have this hot with a refreshing coffee at the end. Adding ghee at last enhances the flavour of pepper idli but its optional. There is no need of any side dish it tastes good as such. This pepper idli fry breaks the routine adding some contrast among our boring snack lists.
