This is a version of healthy ragi soup recipe which can be easily done in no- time. Addition of some beautiful veggies makes this soup even more healthy & nutritious. Before that I will share some importance about Ragi & its goodness.Ragi otherwise called as finger millet is rich in protein which plays important role in our diet. Finger millet is a rich source of calcium for bone strength. Ragi comes from millet family all varieties of millet’s are equally good. Ragi is low in fat and helps in weight reduction and is rich in essential amino acids Ragi especially is high in fibre. It prevents bouts of high blood sugar levels and keeps sugar under control. Sprouted ragi has vitamin c which helps in proper absorption
of iron in the body. The veggies added should be cooked well as well as it should not change colour and some crunch should be there. Do try this healthy ragi soup once and make it a point to have it regularly.

INGREDIENTS;
Ragi powder – 3 tbsp
Ginger& green chilli minced – 3 tsp
Small onions chopped – 1/4 cup
Mix veggies(carrot, peas &beans) – each 1/4 cup
Oil – 1 tbsp
Pepper powder – 3/4 th tbsp
Salt as per need
METHOD:
1.Keep a pan add oil saute onions then green chilli ginger minced.
2.Saute a little add peas with some salt stir well .
3.Now comes the beans followed by carrots saute it nicely.
4. Pour 250 ml water and close lid cook till veggies are cooked well without changing colour.
5.Make a slurry with ragi flour and 200 ml water.
6.Add this to veg mixture with more water to bring to the soup consistency.
7.Add needed salt & pepper powder,close lid let it thicken.
8.Open and stir, switch off serve hot.

Notes
- Ragi mixture added should be cooked well.
- You can add needed water to bring to the soupy consistency.
