This eggless banana chocolate cake with dates & nuts tastes amazing just by adding left over over- ripe bananas. Its very easy to make and just tastes delicious.Used blender for grinding the wet ingredients and just sieved in the dry ingredients and you are done.Totally enjoyed the simplicity of this recipe of eggless banana chocolate cake. My dates were bit dry and hard so I soaked in warm milk for some time. But, if its nice and soft then you can add it directly for grinding. If its soft then you can simply grind the dates with milk directly. I have used only the maida flour you can use in combinations of maida and wheat flour. Any nuts that are available can be used even walnuts
will be so apt and awesome with this banana cake.The oven timings are totally different for various brand ovens so cooking time differs accordingly. Do try this eggless banana chocolate cake your family will definitely love it.

eggless banana chocolate cake with dates & nuts
INGREDIENTS:
DRY MIX:
All purpose flour/maida – 195 gms / 11/2 cups
Cocoa powder – 15 gms/1/4 cup
Baking powder – 4 gms/1 tsp
Baking soda – 1 gm/1/4 tsp
Salt – 1 gm/ 1/4 tsp
Choco-chips 60 gms/1/4 cup
Mixed Nuts roughly ground
(Pista,Almond&cashew). – 40 gms/1/4cup
WET MIX:
Dates without seed – 60gms/1/3 cup
+
Milk (warm) – 60 gms/1/4 cup
Milk for batter – 110gms/1/2 cup
Lemon Juice – 5gm/1 tsp
Oil – 100gms/1/2 cup
Coffe powder – 2gm/1 tsp
Vanilla essence – 3 gm/1/2 tsp
Sugar(whitecastorsugar+brown sugar) – 85 gms
METHOD:
1.Soak dates in 1/4 cup of warm milk for 10 minutes.
2.In a mixing bowl add chopped bananas, sugars, lemon juice, soaked dates, vanilla-essence&oil grind it.
3.Line a loaf pan (7or 8inch) with parchment at bottom and smear oil all over the pan keep ready.
4.Take ground mixture in a mixing bowl now sieve in all dry ingredients(maida, baking powder, baking soda, salt & cocoa powder).
5.Add mixed nuts powder mix.
6.Mix by adding milk then & there to the shown consistency add in 1/4 part of chocochips mix well.
7.Pre-heat oven at 180 deg for 10 minutes.
8.Pour this to the pan add rest of the chocochips.
9.Bake for 40-50 minutes in preheated oven or till skewer inserted come out clean.
10.Take out cover with cloth for 10 – 15 minutes to cool.
11.Then remove the parchment cut only when completely cool.

Notes
- Oven temperatures differs with various oven so, set the temperature accordingly.
- Cooking time varies from oven to oven.
- If you are having small banana's then use four.
- I have used only all-purpose flour but you can use combination of all purpose flour and wheat flour.
- Use any flavourless oil even melted butter.
- I have used some minced nuts you can even add chopped nuts of your choice.
