பிள்ளையார்பட்டி மோதகம் /sweet kozhukattai /Pillayarpatti Modakam
This is பிள்ளையார்பட்டி மோதகம் done as the prasadam is very easy to make and very tasty. It’s a good variation from the usual kozhukattai that we make during vinayagar chathurthi festival. This modakam or kozhukattai is the median of manifestation to the god that we serve as Prasadam to god Vinayaka during this auspicious day of Vinayaka chathurthi. Honestly, I always believe that Sweets by itself is the divine representation of almighty. Steamed kozhukattai’s are not only healthy but its very comforting and that subtle sweetness brings a total satisfaction.
I have used organic jaggery powder so the colour of the kozhukkatai you make may vary depending upon the jaggery you are going to use. Along with cardamom powder we can add some dry ginger powder to enhance the flavour of this modagam. Do try this pillayarpatti modakam for this upcoming festival and pray for the almighty.
