sweet murukku recipe south indian /ribbon pakoda/murukku(sweet)

Ingredients
  

  • Raw rice powder - 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 1/4 cup
  • Coconut milk extract - 1/2 cup
  • Salt a pinch
  • butter - 1/2 tbsp
  • Roasted urad dal powder - 2 tbsp
  • Needed oil to fry

Method
 

  1. Take a large bowl mix everything together nicely.
  2. Mix coconut milk and make a dough.
  3. Then in-between heat up oil in a kadai.
  4. Take a murukku press with ribbon pakoda attachment.
  5. Grease the insides of the press.
  6. Add dough close the lid and keep ready.
  7. When oil heats up press down the dough(these dough does not forms perfect shapes).
  8. Cook on low flame till its cooked perfectly and golden.
  9. Take out in a tissue and store.

Notes

These don't form perfect shapes it breaks.
As we are adding butter and coconut milk its tender and breaks down.
But it turns out really tasty.
