recipe for mango sorbet / dessert

Total Time 15 hours

Ingredients
  

  • Mangoes - 2 medium(take out the pulp)
  • Sugar - 1/4 cup made to a syrup
  • Water for making syrup - 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice - 11/2 tbsp

Instructions
 

  • Make sugar syrup by boiling water and sugar for 5 minutes.
  • Filter and let it cool.
  • In a mixer add scooped mangoes, lemon juice blend well till smooth by adding sugar syrup
  • Transfer to suitable freezer container and freeze.
  • For every one hour take out and blend and re-freeze.
  • You should do it repeatedly for at-least 3-5 times.
  • Then let it sit for 6-7 hours in the freezer finally.
  • scoop out and serve chilled.

Notes

You should beat the mixture then and there till the content goes for longer hours of freezing.
All the quantities depends on your own taste you can change it accordingly,especially the sugar added.
If the fruit itself is sweet then can reduce the sugar amount.
Select fibre-less mangoes for making this sorbet.
