- In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups of ragi flour add salt mix well.2.Gradually add hot water, little by little, and combine to a soft dough.3.Then add chopped onion, coriander leaves, chopped green chilies, minced ginger, 4.Divide the dough into small balls and flatten them into a round shape using your hands or by placing the dough between two plastic sheets, banana leaf or parchment paper. 5.Heat a tava/pan, apply a little oil, and cook the roti on medium flame.6.Flip and cook both sides until they develop light brown spots.7.Serve hot with spicy gravy or any chutney of you choice.

Notes
- Mixing ragi flour with hot water makes the dough more pliable and easier to shape & it gets rid off its rawness.
- You can use a butter paper,wet cloth,plastic sheet or a banana leaf to pat it perfectly.
- You can add some veggies along with this ragi to make even more nutritious.
