Puli Paste/Tamarind paste/Tamarind concentrate

Ingredients
  

  • Tamarind - 250gms
  • water as needed

Method
 

  1. Take water to soak tamarind completely .
  2. Bring to boil
  3. after a while (usually 10-15 min)
  4. switch off the stove
  5. Let it cool and grind the mixture
  6. filter it using strainer,
  7. Bring to boil
  8. let it go till it comes to a semisolid consistency.
  9. cool the mixture and store.
