Method
- Wash the vegetable thoroughly with water and wipe it without any wetness.
- Chop it and keep ready.
- Keep a kadai heat with oil add mustard seeds.
- When it splutters add onions and saute for few minutes.
- Add the vegetable and stir it nicely.
- Add salt and now the vegetable will be sticky.
- Continue to stir till all the stickiness is gone.
- Now add chilli powder and stir for few more minutes till the rawness of chilli is gone.
- Now switch off the stove and add grated coconut and give a final stir.

Notes
Use a heavy bottomed kadai for this as it will stick to the bottom and get burned easily.Should be always near the stove while preparing this ladies finger poriyal recipe/vendakai poriyal.Wash the vegetable thoroughly with water and wipe it without any wetness before cutting the vegetable.If the vegetable is wet then vendakai poriyal will become gooey and soggy.
