- Wash Black Rice 2-3 times.2.Soak it in enough water for 5-6 hours or overnight.3.Drain Water Shade Dry For Some time (there should little wetness like some rice sticking to your hands).4.Grind the soaked and dried rice to a coarse flour.5.Dry roast the flour in a pan till Wetness goes away & light.6.After it cools you can pass through a sieve to prevent lumps.7.Add Ghee & Cardamom powder then mix.8.Add A pinch of salt & mix.9.Sprinkle soaked water little by little and mix.10.The flour should be moist and crumbly, not sticky.11.When pressed in your palm, it should hold shape and crumble easily.12.Transfer the flour to a steamer lined with banana leaf13.Steam the moistened flour for 10-12 minutes.14.Once steamed, Transfer to a mixing Bowl.15.Now Add Jaggery powder Mix.16,Add Grated Coconut Mix EveryThing Well.17.Now Its All Ready To Be Served.

- Do not skip soaking – it ensures soft texture
