how to make chocolate cornflake cookies/marudhuskitchen

Ingredients
  

  • All purpose flour /maida - 3/4 cup
  • Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
  • Melted butter - 3/4 cup
  • Crushed corn flakes - 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla essence - 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Add both maida and cocoa powder and sieve it.
  • Take it a broad bowl mix them to be even.
  • Then add melted butter and vanilla essence to it.
  • Mix them well,it will not form dough but when pressed it will hold shape.
  • Now add cornflakes and mix them.
  • Spread a sheet of cling film and put the dough.
  • Put another sheet of cling film over the dough and roll with a roller.
  • You can make it to 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Then cut with a suitable cutter.
  • In-between pre-heat oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • Spread parchment on a baking tray.
  • Arrange these biscuits and bake it for 10-12 minutes or till done.

Notes

I have nicely crushed the flakes(ground in mixie)and mixed with dough itself.
But you can add it after rolling and cutting individually to each biscuits and press.
The biscuits will become crisp on cooling.
