Wash the Matta rice thoroughly under cold running water to remove excess starch. You can rinse it 2-3 times until the water runs clear.2.Soak Matta rice for about an hour (in cooker itself)will help it cook more evenly and reduce the cooking time.3. For 1 cup of Matta rice, add 3 cups of water to the pressure cooker. Let it boil now close cooker pressure cook for many whistles (10) switch of let the pressure subside.4.
