chocolate biscuit fridge cake /cake without bake

Total Time 4 hours 25 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • Digestive biscuits - 18 bigger one in Britannia
  • Chopped dark chocolate - 250 gms
  • Demorara sugar or white sugar - 2-21/2 tbsp powdered coarsly
  • Butter - 5-6 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence - few drops
  • Some colored sprinkles
Double boiling!
  • For this keep a vessel of boiling water over it place another vessel that it fits with the bottom without gap.
  • In the upper vessel place butter and chocolate to melt.

Method
 

  1. Break and crush the biscuits with bigger chunks left(crush it coarsely not to be fine powder).
  2. Then melt butter and chocolates in a double boiler and let it melt stirring in-between.
  3. Grease a tray with butter paper and keep ready.
  4. When it melts add vanilla essence,sugar to it and mix nicely.
  5. Add the crushed biscuits and mix.
  6. Transfer it to suitable container and add sprinkles over it cover it with cling film to set it in fridge for 4 hours and cut to desired shapes and enjoy.

Notes

I have used demerara sugar you can use even honey or white sugar.
I have used bigger variety of digestives that comes from Britannia.
It has to sit in fridge at-least for 3-4 hours.
The shape of the cake depends on the container you are using,can use even a muffin mould.
