Puli Paste/Tamarind paste/Tamarind concentrate

Ingredients
  

  • Tamarind - 250gms
  • water as needed

Instructions
 

  • Take water to soak tamarind completely .
  • Bring to boil
  • after a while (usually 10-15 min)
  • switch off the stove
  • Let it cool and grind the mixture
  • filter it using strainer,
  • Bring to boil
  • let it go till it comes to a semisolid consistency.
  • cool the mixture and store.
