SWEET PANIYARAM WITH LEFT OVER IDLI BATTER

Ingredients
  

  • LEFT OVER IDLI BATTER - 11/2 CUP

    JAGGERY POWDER - 11/4 CUP

    CARDAMOM POWDER - 11/2 TSP

    GRATED COCONUT - 1/2 CUP

    RICE FLOUR - 1/2 CUP

    AVAL(THICK WHITE VARIETY) - 1 CUP

    GHEE NEEDED TO MAKE PANIYARAM

Instructions
 

  • First wash & soak poha for ten minutes & add this to mixer jar.
    2.Now add grated coconut, rice flour,jaggery &idli batter grind.
    3.Add in cardamom powder grind it again transfer this batter to a mixing bowl.
    4.The consistency should be like idli batter note the batter should not be too thick.
    5.Heat paniyaram pan with ghee scoop out batter cook till golden on one side & flip.
    6.Close with lid cook well open remove.
    7.Repeat the same for all the batter left.
    8.Sweet paniyarams are best enjoyed hot.

Notes

  • Ensure that the batter consistency is thick and smooth. It should be similar to idli batter. If the batter is too thin, the paniyarams may turn out flat and dense.
  • Heat the paniyaram pan well before pouring the batter. This ensures that the paniyarams cook evenly and develop a nice golden crust.
  • Using ghee adds a rich flavor to the sweet paniyarams.
  • Cook the paniyarams on low to medium heat to prevent them from burning while ensuring they cook through evenly.
