First add jaggery with water to the level till jaggery gets immersed boil till jaggery dissolves.2.Filter & keep to cool.3.In a mixing bowl add wheat flour ,rava, pinch of salt baking soda, grated coconut , curd,cardamom powder mix.4.Add jaggery water & make a thick idli batter consistency.5.Add more water to bring to the consistency.6.Heat a kadai with oil when it heats up pinch off batter.7.Fry till golden adjust the flame as required.8.Take out in a tissue.
Notes
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less jaggery according to your preference.
Keep the oil at the right temperature to ensure the bondas cook evenly and absorb less oil.
Adding grated coconut gives a good taste to this Bonda’s.
