kurkuri bhindi fry recipe /crispy ladies finger fry

Ingredients
  

  • Ladies finger/okra/vendaikkai - 1/4 kg
  • Chick pea flour/besan/kadalai maavu - 3 tbsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder/jeeragam - 1 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Chat masala powder - 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder/dhania - 1 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • Oil to fry

Instructions
 

  • Wash and dry the ladies finger with a cotton cloth, then slit it into length wise portions and keep ready.
  • Next take all the above masala’s given in the list mix them and add it to the cut vegetable ,mix it throughly by adding the lemon juice and then sprinkling little water at a time till all the mixture coats the vegetable nicely.
  • Heat a kadai with oil and when hot fry them till crisp take out in a tissue and serve.

Notes

Ladies finger should be fresh and tender for this fry.
Adding chilli powder and spices may be altered according to you taste wish.
This fry should be fried in hot oil so that it turns crispy and crunchy.
