roasted sesame seeds laddu(til/ellu ladoo)

Ingredients
  

  • White sesame seeds/ellu - 1 cup
  • Fine powdered jaggery - 3/4 cup
  • Cardamom powder/elachi - 1tsp

Instructions
 

  • First grate jaggery without any big chunks.
  • Then dry roast sesame seeds till popping sound heard lightly.
  • Switch off add to the mixie grind once add jaggery and whisk till combined.
  • Take out in a plate add cardamom powder mix and make balls.
  • Store in airtight container.

Notes

You can use even black sesame seeds instead of white.
Nowadays pure jaggery cubes are available that can be used in these kind of sweets.
Adding elachi is purely optional.
Make into tight balls so that it makes intact laddu's.
you can grind coarsely or fine according to your wish both will taste good.
