recipe for sweetcorn soup /marudhuskitchen

Ingredients
  

  • Sweet corn kernels - 1 cup boiled
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Water - 2 cups approxR
  • Cornflour - 2tbsp
  • Pepper powder - 2-3 tsp or as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter - 1tsp
  • small dash of sugar optional

Instructions
 

  • Take two cups of water dilute it with cornstarch and keep ready.
  • Then add 3/4 th corn kernels in a mixer add milk and grind.
  • Now keep a pan add butter and add left over corn and saute for a minute then add the ground mixture to it.
  • Let it boil for few minutes then add the diluted cornstarch water by stirring nicely.
  • Add salt and let it boil for few minutes so that all the rawness is gone.
  • Switch of the stove by adding little sugar and pepper powder,mix and serve.
  • You can add finely chopped coriander to it.

Notes

While having the soup if there is less salt or pepper powder they can always add according to individual preferences.
some corn kernels are left as such to have a bite while having the soup.
Even some celery leaves can be sauted in butter to make the soup it will be more flavoursome.
According to individual need and taste the soup can be made thin or thick.
