chocolate biscuit fridge cake /cake without bake

Total Time 4 hours 25 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • Digestive biscuits - 18 bigger one in Britannia
  • Chopped dark chocolate - 250 gms
  • Demorara sugar or white sugar - 2-21/2 tbsp powdered coarsly
  • Butter - 5-6 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence - few drops
  • Some colored sprinkles

Double boiling!

  • For this keep a vessel of boiling water over it place another vessel that it fits with the bottom without gap.
  • In the upper vessel place butter and chocolate to melt.

Instructions
 

  • Break and crush the biscuits with bigger chunks left(crush it coarsely not to be fine powder).
  • Then melt butter and chocolates in a double boiler and let it melt stirring in-between.
  • Grease a tray with butter paper and keep ready.
  • When it melts add vanilla essence,sugar to it and mix nicely.
  • Add the crushed biscuits and mix.
  • Transfer it to suitable container and add sprinkles over it cover it with cling film to set it in fridge for 4 hours and cut to desired shapes and enjoy.

Notes

I have used demerara sugar you can use even honey or white sugar.
I have used bigger variety of digestives that comes from Britannia.
It has to sit in fridge at-least for 3-4 hours.
The shape of the cake depends on the container you are using,can use even a muffin mould.
