eggless kulkuls recipe / Goan Christmas kalkals
These eggless kulkuls recipe is a lovely crispy keeper delight for all festive seasons especially for this christmas. It is called as kulkuls or spelled as kalkals famous in goa made during christmas. To be honest it is the best tasting snack if done correctly and precisely. I had this special seepu murukku press from the near by shop. So I used it but if you don’t have use a clean unused comb or even a fork will do the job. This special kalkals is not at all a difficult snack to try it involves small nuances that should be perfected. Adding coconut milk gives that special taste to this kul kuls. You can sprinkle some icing sugar at the end after
frying as I did or else make sugar syrup and dipping it in the fried kalkals is the another way. When you dip it in sugar syrup it forms a coating on the curls of kulkuls which is very attractive to see and real fun to have it. It keeps well if stored in airtight container for days. Do try this wonderful snack and enjoy.
