During pregnancy most of us as a women suffer from severe anemia and during that time we are prescribed to take iron tablet’s!of-course in addition to tablet’s dates are most valuable “Iron packed” natural tablet’s available hand in hand. The dates can be given in the form of ladoo’s with whole lot of nuts added to it which is even more tastier!!without any sugar added.It is more self satisfying that it is a sugar-less sweet!it is not only good for pregnant women it is good for every one especially for kids.This time I got imported special kind of sticky dates from a friend abroad!!and prepared this dates ladoo!!of-course can be done with whichever dates that you get or use at home.These dates ladoo is yet another easy sweet for diwali that can be done quickly,but an ever healthy sweet.

INGREDIENTS:
Dates(seeds removed) – 1 cup
Cashews -4 tbsp
Almonds -4tbsp
pistachios – 4tbsp
Ghee – 2 tsp
desiccated coconut – 4tbsp
METHOD:
1.Fry all nuts in little ghee till golden and powder coarsely.
2.De-seed the dated grind coarsely and add it in a kadai with little ghee and stir nicely to a mashed stage.
3.Then add nuts and coconut(dry) and stir to form a mass (for few minutes).
4.Switch off the stove and make balls when cool.

Notes
I have rolled it without greasing my hand you can grease your hand with little ghee for rolling.
