Chop nuts keep ready then in a kadai dry roast rava till golden transfer to a large mixing bowl.2.In a pan add a tbsp of ghee add maida then nicely roast till colour changes and aromatic.3.Add this to the roasted semolina with coconut and powdered sugar.Heat khoya in a pan till it becomes loose and let it cool.4.Add khoya, chopped nuts ,cardamom powder to the rava maida mix and mix thoroughly without lumps.5.Heat the ghee and add this little at a time to this mixture and mix nicely.6.Now you can make balls and store it in airtight container.
Notes
Roasting part of the maida and rava is crucial brings the exact flavour and taste. Don’t over do the roasting part as it may get burnt easily. Choice of nuts is as per preference. I have added desiccated coconut but you can add even fresh coconut.
