chocolate and walnut fudge recipe /marudhuskitchen

Ingredients
  

  • Dark chocolate compound - 500 gms
  • Condensed milk - 400gms
  • Chopped walnuts - 1 cup
  • Butter - 2 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Chop the dark chocolate compound take it in a bowl.
    2.In a separate pan toast the nuts and when cool chop and keep.
    3.In-between line a suitable square tray with butter paper and keep ready.
    4.Add condensed milk and butter to it, keep a vessel with water on stove to heat.
    5.Place this chocolate bowl on it and let it melt.
    6.Keep on stirring till all blends well to a shiny thick mass.
    7.Switch off.
    8.Now take out the bowl and stir in to check if there is any chunks.
    9.Take out few tbsps of walnuts and add the rest and stir in.
    10.Pour this to the lined tray and flatten evenly and add the rest of the nuts and press further.
    11.Leave it in a refrigerator to set for 1-2 hours or until set.
    12.Make slices and enjoy.

Notes

You can add a pinch of salt or if using salted butter its ok.
When double boiling don’t leave without stirring.
Double boiling should be done properly like the upper chocolate pan should not come in contact of water.
You can use even milk compound instead of dark.
