Wash and soak rice for minimum 8 hours or overnight then in the morning in a cooker add 5 cups of water to boil and add strained rice to it and pressure cook till nicely cooked.2.The white part should show off when cooked(mashable).3.Bring it under heat add jaggery and let it melt and combine with the rice then switch off and add cardamom powder and finally ghee stir well and serve.
