ginger lemon squash recipe /summer special drink concentrate

Ingredients
  

  • Lemon juice - 1/2 cup
  • Ginger juice from grinding ginger - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • water - 1 cup
  • GMS powder or citric acid - 1/2 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Boil sugar in a pan with 1 cup water and boil till sugar dissolves.
  • When it dissolves switch off and filter for impurities.
  • Then add this gms powder stir well and let it cool completely.
  • Grind ginger with 1/2 cup of water and strain it making half cup.
  • Mix both Juices and keep ready.
  • When the sugar solution cools completely mix the juice mixture and keep in a sterilised bottle.
  • Take 1/4 cup measure of squash and 3/4 th cup of water and serve.
  • Serve chilled.

Notes

You can add ice cubes while serving.
Should strain the juice with a muslin cloth so that a clear squash will be retained.
Use well sterilized bottle so that it can be kept for long.
Keep it in fridge and can use even for 1 or 2 weeks.
