sweet murukku recipe south indian /ribbon pakoda/murukku(sweet)

Ingredients
  

  • Raw rice powder - 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar - 1/4 cup
  • Coconut milk extract - 1/2 cup
  • Salt a pinch
  • butter - 1/2 tbsp
  • Roasted urad dal powder - 2 tbsp
  • Needed oil to fry

Instructions
 

  • Take a large bowl mix everything together nicely.
  • Mix coconut milk and make a dough.
  • Then in-between heat up oil in a kadai.
  • Take a murukku press with ribbon pakoda attachment.
  • Grease the insides of the press.
  • Add dough close the lid and keep ready.
  • When oil heats up press down the dough(these dough does not forms perfect shapes).
  • Cook on low flame till its cooked perfectly and golden.
  • Take out in a tissue and store.

Notes

These don't form perfect shapes it breaks.
As we are adding butter and coconut milk its tender and breaks down.
But it turns out really tasty.
