recipe from sweet corn /sweet corn sundal(stirfry)

Ingredients
  

  • Boiled corn sweet corn - 1 cup
  • Green chillies - 1 chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Asafoetida/hing - a pinch
  • Some chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves
  • Mustard seeds/kadugu - 1 tsp
  • Urad dhal/black gram - 11/2 tbsp
  • Coconut grated - 2-3 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp

Instructions
 

  • Steam whole corn in a steamer and peel the corn out of it and keep ready.
  • Keep ready with all the ingredients.
  • Keep kadai add oil and when it heats up add mustard,urad dhal and when it spluters and dhal browns add chopped chilli,hing with chopped leaves(curry and coriander).
  • After that add corn to it with salt and saute for some time and switch off the flame add coconut and mix.

Notes

Instead of adding green chillies you can add the red one.
In addition to urad dhal you can add chana dhal too.
I have not added salt while steaming corn so I have added salt with corn needed for this sundal.
You can squeeze some lemon juice at last but I have not added it.
