INGREDIENTS:

Coriander seeds -1/4 cup
Dry red chillies -6-8 (kashmiri variety)
Cumin seeds – 1tbsp
Bay leaves – 2
Black stone flower/kalpasi -1tsp
Cloves -10-12
Cinnamon 2-3 small pieces
Dried coconut powder/desiccated – 2tbsp
Sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder – 1 tbsp or u can use black pepper whole
Asafoetida – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 1 tsp

METHOD:

1.First dry roast coconut and sesame seeds separately without oil and keep separately(till brown).
2.Add oil in a kadai add rest of the ingredients(redchillies little later or separately) and roast till nice and golden(add hing,pepper powder at last).
3.First grind coconut and sesame then add the other ingredients and grind.
4.Take out and store.
