pistachio cookie recipe / piped biscuitsI don’t think I will be experimenting about food this much if I were not introduced into this blogging world that is not confined to same kind of cooking!exploring varies cuisines and even the way of cooking differs and to be short my mind and soul have been totally submitted towards this food world.We are nearing our year-end just counting days to welcome the new year!for me this year has run too fast I feel got more friends through this blogging!love to be here in this virtual world for ever.pistachio cookie recipe / piped biscuitsSome pistachios were there for long time in my fridge and it was the time to use up those as soon as I can so did these pistachio cookies.These are so simple to make I have used a piping bag to pipe out the cookies without any nozzle attachment.I was not able to use the nozzle because I ground the pistachio’s very coarsely and it was impossible to use a piping nozzle for this pistachio cookie recipe of-course I wanted-ly did this to have pista’s presence in every bite.But if you don’t want to pipe the cookies you can very well make a dough out of it without adding milk or little as required.My D(Gayathri)told that it tastes like an ice-cream oh!yes she likes ice-creams very much.It tastes more buttery with a good taste of pistachios in it.

INGREDIENTS:

Pistachios powdered – 2-3 tbsp
Butter (soft) – 1/2 cup
Powdered sugar- 1/2 cup
Vanilla essence few drops
All purpose flour/maida – 3/4 cup
Cornflour – 2 tbsp
milk few tbsps(2-4)

METHOD:

 

1.Add butter,vanilla essence and powdered sugar in a bowl and cream it well .
2.Then take powdered pista,maida and corn flour add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
3.Now add milk and bring to a squeeze consistency.
4.Pre-heat oven at 170 degrees for 10 minutes.
5.Take a piping bag with a simple hole fill up the mixture.
6.Squeeze to desired shapes on a butter paper layered baking tray.
7.Bake it for 12-15 minutes.
8.Take out and cool.

  • Take a piping bag with a simple hole fill up the mixture.
  • Squeeze to desired shapes on a butter paper layered baking tray.
  • Bake it for 12-15 minutes.
  • Take out and cool.

Notes

If you don't want to be squeezed don't add more milk add only enough to make into a dough and cut into shapes or no milk.
As I have not powdered finely so I have not used nozzles.
Oven temperatures differs from oven to oven.
