diwali snack/omapodi/simple plain sevIt is not only a traditional diwali snack but it is a great! yet common tea time snack.Take a large handful of crushed sev in your hand have a cup of tea /coffee in hand!!just sit in a peaceful place and you will enjoy “the” pleasurable evening!!yes!I know it is a silly little thing to be shared but enjoyed by most of us.diwali snack/omapodi/simple plain sevMy son(till now) does not “tolerate and like” spicy food’s and as a snack he likes this plain sev very much.Omam/carom seeds can be simply ground with water and strained!add only the measurement what I have given don’t add too much.Hot oil can be added instead of butter, but if you are adding butter the butter should be soft and not hard.you can soak the carom seeds for some time in hot water before grinding or simply grind it!both the way it is okay.Ompodi/omapodi is a simple diwali snack.
